Kiz: ‘Mr B has been pestering me to decide what I wanted to do on Mother’s Day for the past week. I’m not too bothered, but the idea occurred this morning for us to make and enjoy Afternoon Tea at home. It was lovely. Now feeling fat with a sugar hangover. Will be fasting tomorrow.’

Sooze: ‘Another natty info-graphic – this one’s come up in my writing work today.’

Kiz: ‘Out for a jaunt in the woods with Islay and Jasper and spotted this interesting tunnel for a stream. I might in there for a closer look one day soon. P.S I fell on my face on the mud 2 minutes after this photo was taken. Whoops!’

Sign saying 'Homemade sausages'

Sooze: ‘Good to know. (I like that it must have taken someone a long time to make this ornate old sign.)’

Kiz: ‘Out for an evening of theatre. Went out solo and then bumped into lots of people. Arty farty hobnobbing.’

Coffee tasting wheel

Sooze: ‘This combines two things I love: info-graphics and words to talk about sensations. This wheel was on the wall in a coffee shop and cleverly displays the range of coffee tastes and aromas.’

500th post!

We’ve just posted our five-hundredth post on this blog!

You published your 500th post on this blog

We’ve been taking and posting a photo every day for 500 days.

This September, we’ll complete two years of blogging together.
Kiz, I reckon we’ll need an ‘evaluation and review meeting’ about the ‘project’ where we write down our reflections on it and I’ll do some nerdy stats (percentage of photos involving eg: food, cars, animals, Islay etc). Possible location: Venice. Agreed?

Pad thai at Giggling Squid, Stratford

Locked box on a wall behind Stratford library

Sooze: ‘I’ve always wondered what this locked box is on a wall behind Stratford library…’
